How much does it cost? - Usually, the Seller's Agent will pay a fee to the Buyer's Agent. Most sales are the result of a buyer's agent’s efforts. In fact, any home listed in the MLS database and any new home development whose builder subscribes to the Builder/Broker code has already agreed to pay the fees, as long as the buyer visits the property with the buyer's agent. In cases such as properties "For Sale by Owner" and other rare cases, the seller may pay the agents fee and in some cases the buyer will pay the fee.
